What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will support our Salesforce and Digital Team in the execution of testing practices for our Digital platform and internal Salesforce CRM. Reporting to the Test & Release Lead, you will:

  • Plan, design, and execute tests covering functional, regression, and performance testing using tools like Playwright, Applitools, Cypress
  • Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices for test automation
  • Mentor other team members in testing best practices for test automation
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate testing requirements and resources
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance the overall quality and user experience
  • Identify and manage testing risks


A Bit About You

  • 5 years + experience in a senior Test Automation role, ideally within New Zealand's financial services sector, particularly Insurance
  • Proficient in using test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright (Java-based)
  • Skilled in developing automated tests for Salesforce platforms
  • Strong background in API testing and working with CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and ways of working
  • Flexibility to work with our Trans-Tasman partners
  • Capable of building strong, lasting relationships with external stakeholders
  • Excellent in both written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and methodical in problem-solving


Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience in NRF testing
  • New Zealand Insurance Industry experience
  • AI Testing experience
