About The Role

The role of the Receptionist and Administrator is to provide reception and administrative services in support of the wider operation of Browns Road Transitional Housing of the Salvation Army.

What Will Your Responsibilities Be

  • Advance the mission of The Salvation Army
  • Provide a warm welcome, and responsive point of connection for all people arriving at the centre
  • Provide administrative and service delivery tasks for the wider team including support with IT, property, and travel needs.
  • Provide connection support for client and staff on daily basis.
  • Organisation of meetings, prompt recording of meeting minutes, and efficient support with correspondence.
  • Duties in line with the positive outcomes of the role.
  • Provide financial administration and liaising with accounts department
  • Processing client referrals

Our Ideal Candidate Will

  • Proven customer service skills, able to communicate effectively orally and inwriting.
  • Ability to have empathy and understanding when working with vulnerable people
  • Proven Administration/reception experience

This role is permanent full-time and hours worked will be 40 per week.

The starting hourly rate for this role is $27.80
