We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide community nursing services that may include wound care, catheter cares, support planning and/or other specialist clinical services.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be working with Clinical Nursing Service and Homecare in a hybrid capacity.

This position involves visiting Service Users in their homes to apply your practical nursing knowledge and assessment skills, case management, and patient education. It will also involve developing positive working relationships with GP practices and other referrers.

Job Location: Invercargill, Southland

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (40 hours)

The successful candidate will have:

  • New Zealand Registration and current practising certificate
  • Wound management experience (simple, complex and including burns)
  • Catheter experience
  • Caring nature and ability to connect with people from various backgrounds
  • Time management and relationship-building skills
  • Positive communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing the best service delivery to our clients

Other Must have requirements:

  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
  • Full NZ Driver's licence and have access to a reliable vehicle
  • Able to start as soon as possible
