This is a new Business Analyst contract in which you will be delivering a project relating to the on-boarding and integration of a new subsidiary. You will be required to work across a number of business units to complete high quality analysis to support solution design and delivery within the scope of project. This will be a 6m contract and is an Auckland based role with hybrid working arrangements.

You will be required to work across a number of business units to complete high quality analysis to support solution design and delivery within the scope of project. This will be an Auckland based role with hybrid working arrangements.

What You Will Bring

  • Completing current and future state process mapping.
  • Working with business and technology stakeholders to define and validate requirements (functional and non-functional).
  • Map current state and future state processes.
  • Complete impacts analysis to support options analysis.
  • Maintain and update Jira, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Effectively communicate changes and impacts to stakeholders, including 3rd parties.
  • Follow established governance processes.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues.
  • Help facilitate sessions between technology and the business, to ensure features delivered are as per acceptance criteria agreed.
  • Coordinate discovery, planning and showcases.
  • Manage and document feedback from the business to technology, and the 3rd party.
  • Record and manage decisions registers.
  • Support prioritisations discussions, providing evidence-based analysis to support decision making.
  • Support testing activities.
  • Support and contribute to implementation and business readiness milestones.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of business analysis experience especially with Banking experience
  • Proven ability to undertake business analysis in a project environment, with experience in; requirements gathering, defining issue investigation, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirement analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to be able to engage and present to all relevant stakeholders at all levels
