We are looking for a Team Leader to lead and develop our pouch department, ensuring products are produced in accordance with company quality, health & safety, cost policies, and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of production staff to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Conduct pre-shift checks, including staff attendance, downtime, and material availability
- Lead toolbox meetings and discussions to ensure health and safety, quality, and production targets are met
- Conduct regular walk-throughs of the production line to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Manage staff absenteeism, return-to-work procedures, and maintain training records
- Assist with quality control checks, investigations, and audits
- Collaborate with other departments, including stock control, maintenance, and quality assurance
- Ensure compliance with environmental cleaning, EHS, and first aid procedures
- Develop and maintain training records for staff in training and existing staff
- Assist with projects, audits, and delegated tasks from the Team Manager
- 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of quality, health & safety, and environmental regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
