Role

As a Temporary Traffic Management Worker, you will work predominantly on the road, this role supports the team with the establishment, maintenance, and uplift of traffic management setups, you will be expected to operate with limited supervision, demonstrating a high level of reliability, safety awareness, and professionalism. It also requires:

  • The ability to adapt to dynamic site conditions, respond effectively to instructions, and maintain clear communication with the wider traffic management and worksite teams.
  • Proven experience in Temporary Traffic Management, with a reliable and consistent track record in on-road delivery.
  • An understanding of practical applications of TTM on live worksites with the ability to interpret and follow approved Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) accurately.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

  • Full Class 1 Restricted or Full NZ Drivers Licence
  • Construct Safe Accredited
  • TTM Unit Standard - 31958
  • Experience using hand tools, TTM equipment, and completing on-site documentation.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices or tablets for daily reporting or job management systems.
  • Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
