Full-time – 30 hours per week over a 7-day roster for shifts between 12pm and 7.30pm.
We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic Catering Assistant with a passion for delivering great food service. Cater Plus is the proud Food service provider at this prestigious school and we are looking for talented staff to join our team.
We need you to help us deliver the best food service experience in the industry! Our team caters for student meals as well as regular school functions throughout the year. Our aim is to provide a home away from home, delicious meal service that supports health and wellbeing and provides the fuel needed for success.
The role:
We currently have Catering Assistant position available over a 7 day roster , including weekends. We are looking for motivated individuals who are flexible to work across various shifts over a 7-day roster.
This role is educational, meaning you will work 40 weeks per year and be able to enjoy school breaks off giving you quality time to spend with family or refresh, there may be opportunity to pick up extra shifts over this period to help with special events.

What you’ll do:
- ensure the kitchen is safe and hazard free by doing dishes, removing rubbish, and cleaning.
- support the chef with food preparation.
- assist with service and clearing away afterwards.
- top up supplies, help to keep the kitchen running smoothly, and left clean and tidy at the end of shift.
Who You Are:
- a flexible team player, with a committed attitude who can stay cool under pressure.
- friendly and engaging and enjoy making the students’ day by serving amazing meals.
- able to work safely in an industrial kitchen with large hot pots and trays.
- able to take initiative and be comfortable to work unsupervised when required.
