The Associate Licencing Specialist has responsibility to provide high quality account management for the licensing solutions team which includes responsibility for quoting, answering basic licensing questions, and maintaining customer records across all software vendors.

The Associate Licensing Specialist will also conduct a range of business development, account management and customer acquisition activities focused on, growing, managing and maintaining current and future customer accounts.

About The Role

  • Management of client licensing requirements, including quoting, contract management, renewals and reporting.
  • Identify and qualify potential software licensing opportunities across current customer accounts.
  • Answering licensing questions raised internally and by customers and escalating to the assigned Licensing Specialist if assistance is required for complex cases.
  • Proactively manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, distributors and vendors.
  • Manage client expectations through consistent communication both verbally and written.
  • Manage licensing administration from a range of software products and providers.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of all applicable licensing products and vendors.
  • Identify potential new product offerings and make recommendations on viability.
  • Attend Vendor Product training and internal training for personal and professional development.

About You

  • High-level interpersonal, relationship development and communication skills
  • 2+ years sales experience. Preferable with Software and Licensing experience.
  • Knowledge of Cloud consumption & billing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and/or key software vendor programs
  • Strong Microsoft applications experience
  • An ability to build positive and constructive lateral relationships based on trust, understanding the needs of peers, and delivering on the position's responsibilities and duties
  • Time management and organisational skills, including the ability to work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail
