Our client has a new role of Delivery & Capability Manager to build capability, consistency and quality across their team. This role is all about coaching, training, and inspiring the next generation of professionals while ensuring technical excellence.

As an experienced Accountant you with bring your passion for developing people together with your technical knowledge and apply your knack for translating complexity into accessible, development and training programmes.

In this role you will:
  • Design and deliver technical training programmes on core accounting tools and practises
  • Coach emerging talent to grow confidence, technical ability and business thinking
  • Collaborate across departments to align training, development, and workflow capacity
  • Champion quality – refining templates, improving standards and leading reviews
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardising technical processes and documentation for maximum efficiency and accuracy
  • Pitch in to support great client outcomes when and where needed

You will need:
  • A strong technical foundation in accounting and New Zealand taxation is essential
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, GST and bookkeeping, ideally in a public practise environment
  • A passion for developing people, with proven experience coaching or mentoring junior team members
  • Confidence with accounting software (Xero, FYI Docs, and more)
  • Ability to translate complexity into accessible, confidence-building learning experiences
  • A drive for continuous improvement and process excellence
  • Clear communication, empathy, and proven leadership skills.
