Database Administrator

Unipharm Healthy Manufacturing Co., Ltd, a fast-growing and reputable industry leader, is expanding its team to keep up with increasing business demands.

We are looking for experienced and committed database administrator to join our friendly team, in a well-established business located in Rosedale Auckland.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning, maintaining, and administer our company's database management systems, operating systems.

Key Responsibilities

Designing and maintaining database architecture, data structures;

Performing the operational establishment and preventive maintenance of backups, recovery procedures;

Testing database systems and upgrades, such as debugging, tracking, reproduction;

Analysing, recommending, installing and maintaining software security applications and monitoring contractual obligations;

Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs;

Monitoring and adjusting the performance of networks;

Surveying the current computer site to determine future network needs and making recommendations for enhancements in the implementation of future servers and networks.

Key Requirements

At least 3 years relevant working experience in database operation and administration.

A level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification may substitute for the requirement of working experience.

Honest and reliable work ethic with high attention to details

Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment

Pay rate for this role is $28.00 $30.00 per hour. Minimum 40 hours per week.
