Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Cook Assistant to join our kitchen team and support our food preparation and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather food ingredients and kitchen equipment in preparation for cooking

• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately for daily food production

• Wash, peel, cut, slice, and dice vegetables and other ingredients

• Cut and grind meat, poultry, and seafood under supervision

• Remove cooked food from ovens and food warmers safely

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware

• Store food, supplies, and kitchen equipment properly in designated areas including refrigerators, cupboards, and pantries

Requirements:

• No prior experience required

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods

• Willingness to follow hygiene and food safety protocols

• Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment

• Good communication skills
