We’re looking for a Senior Accounts Payable superstar to join our Finance team for a 13-month fixed term contract, based at our Auckland Head Office.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day accounts payable function – ensuring timely processing of invoices and credit notes, managing payment runs, reconciling supplier accounts, and building great relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers. You’ll also play a key role in supporting process improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with internal policies.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting process improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
What You’ll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga
- Processing daily invoices and credit notes
- Managing weekly, monthly, and ad hoc payment runs
- Completing end-of-month reconciliations and reporting
- Handling supplier queries and performing monthly reconciliations
- Reviewing aged payables, following up on outstanding items
- Supporting and mentoring other Accounts Payable team members
- Identifying and driving improvements in AP processes
- 5–7 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail and the confidence to question irregularities
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Confident working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial systems
