This is a people first leadership role overseeing a team of engineers delivering professional services to enterprise clients. You’ll straddle project delivery, team coaching, customer engagement and commercial operations. Reporting into the CEO and working closely with a Senior Technical Manager, you’ll play a vital role in driving revenue and service quality.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Lead and coach a team of engineers to deliver outstanding support and project outcomes
- Manage scheduling, billing, reporting, and project documentation with a commercial lens
- Monitor and triage support queues, ensuring timely routing
- Partner with sales, pre-sales, and account managers to support client onboarding and renewals
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue from existing customers and leverage CRM tools like Hubspot
Full-time, permanent. While flexibility exists, we’re looking for someone who can be onsite 4-5 days per week to lead from the front.
About You:
You're an instinctive leader who brings high EQ and strong commercial acumen. A trusted operator who gets the best out of people without micromanaging. You know how to build trust with technical teams and commercial clients alike, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed.
- Proven experience leading teams in a commercial/technical or professional services environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence – you ‘read the room’ with ease
- Exposure to technical environments or past experience with BI, SQL or systems thinking
- Familiarity with platforms like JIRA, Zendesk, and Hubspot is highly advantageous
- Experience managing project delivery, client relationships or operational processes
