You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritise features, ensuring our products deliver exceptional customer and commercial value.
You will be a critical part of the project development teams to execute the product vision by defining customer needs and recommending solutions that deliver customer and commercial value.
Based in our headquarters in Rosedale in Auckland, you will collect and analyse features and requirements from the internal and external customers and dive deep into the requirements/ features to provide the team with the right level of detail.
Let’s talk about you:

Your background means you understand what it takes to design, build, and deploy software products. You’re comfortable collaborating in cross-functional teams, especially with engineering teams, representing market needs, and translating them into technical requirements, while also appreciating the complexities and constraints of the engineering process.

What you need to bring:

- Demonstrated ability to run customer trials and work through iterative development cycles, with practical exposure to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong understanding of agile software development, including backlog management, user story creation, and sprint planning.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Test or Development Engineer, or Customer Support agent in technical-related fields.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
- A great attitude, people like working with you. You can influence without authority.
- Good analytical and failure mode identification abilities. You can understand existing product and solution sets, how they are best adapted and enhanced for diverse customer needs, balancing risk, effort and value.
- Ability to take an iterative discovery approach to requirements gathering and verification, working with customers and key internal stakeholders at all stages.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate and articulate solutions across different functions.
- Ideally, a university degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or another applicable field.
