Hourly rate: $28-$33

Minimum and Maximum Hours Per Week: 30-50 hours

What are you be doing

Study and interpret plans and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures

Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding safely and according to regulations

Apply damp-resistant materials to seal foundations and prepare surfaces for construction

Mix and spread mortar to serve as base and binder for bricks and blocks using trowels

Lay bricks in specified rows, designs, and patterns, maintaining consistent mortar joints

Embed blocks securely in mortar and remove excess material for a clean finish

Perform regular checks on vertical and horizontal alignment using levels and measuring tools

Cut, shape, and polish stones and bricks using specialized machinery and hand tools

Craft custom shapes to accommodate irregular spaces and ensure proper fit

Conduct repair and maintenance work on existing brick, cement block, and related structures

Design and cut monumental masonry including decorative elements and lettering

Construct walls using stone slabs and large masonry block materials

What will you bring?

Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, or equivalent level 4 or above qualification;

Communicate effectively and positively with co-workers and clients

Honest, reliable, hardworking with a 'can do' attitude and willing to learn

Attention to detail and able to see projects through to completion

Excellent work ethic and great time management
