We are a Wellington based company seeking a motivated Airconditioning Installer and Technician to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, rostered between Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Please note that 24/7 availability is essential to respond to call-outs as needed. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32 to $41 based on skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Install and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Establish job requirements, drilling holes, installing mounting brackets and installing units in accordance with the set standards
Cutting, bending and threading piping as required
Lay out wires and pipes, perform bolting, soldering and brazing to ensure perfect fit
Repair equipment as required and test run the units
Diagnose faults and conduct necessary repairs
Perform electrical work under supervision
Keeping accurate records of jobs completed
Preparing job sites and clean up after jobs as directed
Following health and safety and accident procedures
Delivering high-quality customer service at all times
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Be registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB)
Have NZ relevant qualification at least at level 4 or above
Preferably have relevant work experience
Have class 1 driver license
Be available for weekend work and 24/7 call-outs
Be physically fit
