As we embark on the next chapter of our ambitious growth journey with our recently launched Bra Better ethos, we're searching for collaborative, experienced HR professional to support our teams across New Zealand and Australia. This busy exciting role is for someone who is deeply passionate about what they do, outcomes focused and highly practical. You will play a crucial role in partnering with our people across NZ and Australia to deliver best in class HR and ER expertise that align with business needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities

You will play a crucial role in partnering with our people across NZ and Australia to deliver best in class HR and ER expertise that align with business needs and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective relationships with managers, employees, and stakeholders to establish trust and credibility.
- Manage employment relations across Bendon, including advising business leaders on HR procedures and resolving day-to-day ER issues.
- Oversee disciplinary procedures and handle ER matters ranging from basic to complex.
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to develop leadership and employee capabilities.
- Stay updated on employment law developments in NZ and AU and recommend policy changes when necessary.
- Update and monitor HR policies to align with business goals.
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team, building on our CORE values.
- Coordinate annual performance appraisals and salary reviews.
- 5+ years' experience as an ER specialist, HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably within retail or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ER, HR practices, policies, and employment law across NZ and Australia.
- Ability to manage complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary procedures and investigations across NZ and Australian employment legislation.
- Results oriented, self-motivated and driven, while demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence, accustomed to working in a hands-on manner to accomplish multiple priorities.
- Experience in coaching leaders on employment relations issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with a strategic mindset.
