We are currently seeking experienced Legal Secretaries for a variety of temporary and permanent roles with leading legal practices across Christchurch. These opportunities offer the chance to join supportive teams and play a key role in the smooth running of busy legal offices.

  • Immediate temporary roles with established firms

Key Responsibilities May Include


  • Diary management and meeting coordination
  • Opening and managing client files and matters
  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents
  • Liaising with clients in person and over the telephone
  • Managing confidential information with discretion
  • Assisting with billing, invoicing, and AML compliance


We’re Looking For


  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant (NZ legal environment preferred)
  • Familiarity with litigation or conveyancing (both highly regarded)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
