About The Role

The receptionist is part of a team of four responsible for providing timely and effective administrative and reception services.

This is a permanent role offered at 36 hours per week, working on a rotating to roster, which will include occasional weekend work.

Specific duties include:

  • Providing efficient administration support and a welcoming reception service
  • Answering queries, face-to-face and over the phone in a timely, polite and professional manner
  • Admitting patients and checking all patient information required is completed
  • Prompt response to all inward telephone calls with priority attention given to the Hospital emergency telephone
  • Sole charge of the daily opening and closing of the Hospital
  • Use of patient management computer programs
  • Accounts Receivable tasks including the processing of account payments, shop payments and till reconciliation.


Skills and Experiences:

Skills and Experience:

  • High presentation standards, with calm, polite and professional mannerisms
  • Customer service experience, with excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good computer and data entry skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence maintaining professionalism in all interactions
  • An Enthusiastic team player with a proactive, flexible attitude
