The Organisation

A large enterprise undergoing a major data transformation is seeking to uplift its data governance maturity. The program is strategically important, requiring senior level input with minimal supervision. This opportunity exists within a professional environment that values clear communication, accountability, and outcomes. The role is part of a newly established engagement with a delivery partner, so onboarding and communication will be managed with care and precision.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to join the program as a key contributor. This role will involve designing and implementing governance frameworks, processes, and artefacts while collaborating directly with senior stakeholders. You’ll work independently to produce strategic deliverables and help reduce leadership workload. Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Elation and Informatica is essential to succeed in this role.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Proven experience in data governance within financial services or similarly regulated environments
• Strong background in developing governance frameworks, standards and operating models
• Familiarity with data stewardship and ownership models
• Practical, hands-on experience using Alation and Informatica
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills - non negotiable
• Ability to work strategically and independently with minimal oversight
• Comfortable working closely with leadership to support delivery and time management
