Job Description
Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
Our Infrastructure Delivery team is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee the delivery of a high-spec new-build airstrip terminal at Seghe Airport. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a significant aviation infrastructure project, located in the Solomon Islands.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring Health & Safety protocols are adhered to, and maintaining programme integrity.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position forecast to end in August 2026 . The successful candidate will need to be available to work a 5-weeks-on, 5-days-off FIFO roster , with flights, single accommodation onsite, and meals provided.

Suitable Candidates For This Role Will Have
- Trade qualified in construction-related fields
- Experience in supervising high-spec projects preferably within a contracting organisation
- Essential to have multi-discipline building experience and ability to oversee construction from ground up to final completion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate and direct subcontractors and suppliers effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to Health & Safety best practices and initiatives
- Proven success in delivering high-quality, productive, and safe work while maintaining environmental integrity
- Previous experience working in remote, tropical locations and managing local subcontractors is advantageous
