The Role
This is a 1.0 FTE position working 12 hr rostered shifts (plus on call), across a 24/7 roster in our brand new 12 bed ICU/HDU at Allevia Hospital Epsom, where at least 50% of cases are cardiothoracic. Although your 'home' will be ICU you will also assist in the adjoining cardiothoracic surgical ward (CTU) when required.

About You - You Have
- Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and a current APC
- At least 2 years current experience in a surgical ICU, within a NZ hospital or similar e.g Australia, UK, Ireland
- Preferably - cardiothoracic ICU experience
- Confidence in your practice and you are able to work autonomously
- The ability to relate to a wide variety of customers e.g. patients and their families, the MDT and specialists
