Qualified Baker

Qualified and experienced Bakers, we need to hear from you now! We are looking for a passionate, skilled, and hard-working Baker to join our client’s tight knit team in beautiful South Canterbury.

Our client is a busy and successful locally owned business with a loyal, local customer base. They love to provide excellent service, and delicious offerings from freshly made bread and buns, to cakes, muffins, slices, and so much more!

Because they are consistently busy, they need an experienced and qualified Baker to join their high-performing team and provide their valued customers with consistently top-quality products.

KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

• A New Zealand-recognized industry qualification (preferred)
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen, resident, work visa)
• Proven experience in a scratch-baking environment
• A genuine love of creating amazing, high-quality products
• A supportive, team-focused approach to your work
• Good physical fitness, reliability, and motivation

You will also bring a thirst (or should that be hunger?!) for continuous improvement and a genuine desire to keep learning and growing. This is a business that loves delighting its customers with exciting new offerings and gourmet treats, so if this sounds like you, you will be joining your kind of people!

Hours of work will be between 24 - 40 per week (we can discuss what suits you best), including early morning starts, and one weekend day. Specifics can be discussed at the interview stage.
