Job Description:

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established business, and we are looking for CAD software (Solidworks) Designer/drawer and Automotive Accessories Installer

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

• Using Cad software to design and modify parts and accessories.
• Insuring placement and functionality are correct for specific vehicles
• Using the Computer to write up instructions and information on how to fit parts designed.
• Quality checks on all parts when required
• Reading the job sheets and notifying any parts needed or issues at the start
• Installation of parts i.e Cargo Barriers, Shelving, Flooring, vents and other specialized parts.
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
• Completing jobs in a timely manner with high standard and sign offs.
• Insuring work area is tidy
• Reporting any breakages/damages and inventory concerns
• Attend meetings as required and contribute with concerns and positive solutions.
• Checking in vehicles for damage as they arrive on site.
• Driving vehicles to do pickups and deliveries if needed (Valid DL)

Experience and Qualification Required:

• A minimum of 12 months of hands-on local experience in automotive installations,
  demonstrating a strong and genuine interest in the automotive engineering field;
  AND
• At least Level 6 tertiary education background in engineering (mechanical or
  related discipline); AND
• Proficiency in CAD design, with a particular focus on planning and designing
  vehicle accessories.

• Minimum hours per week: 30 Hours/ week
• Maximum hours per week: 45 Hours/ week
• Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $30.00
• Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $40.00
• Pay frequent: Weekly
