Role Objective:
We are looking for a driven and highly connected Booker to join the team at Live Nation New Zealand, working across two of the country’s most exciting club venues: The Tuning Fork (Auckland) and San Fran (Wellington).
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone with a true passion for live music, who has their finger on the pulse of the local scene, and who thrives on sourcing, securing and delivering dynamic content that will grow the reach and reputation of these venues.
Based at Spark Arena in Auckland (with flexibility for remote working as required), the Booker will manage content end to end, build strong relationships with artists, promoters and agents, and act as a promoter on select shows.

What you’ll be doing:
- Managing bookings: Act as first point of contact for all booking enquiries and maintain a steady flow of content in both venues.
- Contracting & negotiation : Negotiate deals and generate contracts and invoices for all shows at both venues.
- Sourcing content : Research and identify potential local and international acts using music platforms, social media and industry connections.
- Building relationship: Establish and maintain key relationships with local artists, agents, managers and promoters.
- Promoting events : Promote your own shows and present diverse local support acts to build venue reputation.
- Reporting & analysis : Prepare regular reports on trends, sales, pricing and attendance to inform ongoing strategy.
What we’re looking for:
- Live music expertise : Prior experience in content booking, live events or a similar role within the music or entertainment industry.
- Contract management skills : Strong understanding of contract administration with excellent attention to detail.
- Relationship management : Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build strong industry relationships.
- Time management : Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech skills : Proficiency with venue management platforms (e.g. Elite, Moshtix), Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools such as Slack.
- Proactive mindset : A can-do attitude with the initiative and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic team.
