The Opportunity

As a Sales Manager, you'll be the commercial lead for your territory, managing a portfolio of strategically important and high-potential travel partners across the South Island. You’ll be at the forefront of accelerating sales performance through data-driven decision-making, deep partner engagement, and strategic territory planning.

You won’t just manage relationships; you’ll actively grow them, using your commercial acumen to increase passenger volumes, drive cross-brand participation and uncover new opportunities in the market.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage a portfolio of travel agency partners across your South Island territory.
  • Develop tailored account strategies based on performance tier and growth potential.
  • Execute TTC’s sales process and deliver results tied to revenue and passenger growth.
  • Use tools like Salesforce to track trends, identify risks, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Deliver impactful training, webinars, and sales consultations that inspire and inform.
  • Cross-sell TTC brands based on partner needs and client profiles.
  • Provide insights back to the business on market trends, competitive shifts, and partner feedback.
  • Manage your T&E and co-op marketing budget with a focus on ROI.

About You

You’re a commercially minded sales professional with a passion for travel and a drive to exceed targets. You thrive in a B2B environment, enjoy developing meaningful relationships, and know how to balance strategic thinking with in-the-field action.

You Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B or B2B2C sales (travel, tourism, or hospitality preferred).
  • Proven success managing a sales territory and growing account performance.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both in-person and virtually.
  • CRM expertise (Salesforce preferred) and a love for using data to drive strategy.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 60%, including overnight and occasional weekends.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle.
