Join AoFrio as a Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Platform team at AoFrio. This is a hands-on role where you’ll help bring structure and clarity to existing technical workstreams that haven’t yet been documented or prioritised.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll work cross-functionally and translate complex backend and API-related documentation into clear, business-oriented user stories and planning materials.

You’ll be responsible for organising work in Jira, maintaining documentation in Confluence and supporting monthly planning meetings with insights and updates.

Let’s talk about you:

You’re a tech-savvy Business Analyst with a passion for turning technical complexity into clear, actionable insights. You thrive in agile environments and have experience working with backend systems, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.

While you won’t need to be hands-on with coding, you should have a solid understanding of how modern software stacks work, from front-end to back-end and APIs, and be confident in communicating across technical and non-technical teams.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in SaaS environments and a strong appetite for learning, especially in areas like AI and automation. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through better documentation, smarter workflows, and clearer communication.

What you need to bring: 

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment
• Strong understanding of software stacks (front-end, back-end, APIs)
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog and documentation management
• Ability to convert complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language
• Interest in using AI tools and automation to enhance efficiency
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive mindset and ability to work autonomously
• Bonus: Hands-on coding experience or hands-on hardware/firmware lifecycle experience
