Join Purina as our National Field Sales Manager in New Zealand, where you will lead our Pet Specialty Field Sales team to successfully execute Category Channel and Customer plans. In this exciting role, you will drive sales performance, build strong relationships, and inspire your team to achieve outstanding results.

A day in the Life…

  • Develop and own the National Field Sales operational plan to achieve business objectives.
  • Leverage data to enhance commercial understanding and drive strategic decisions.
  • Coordinate and review the annual call cycle plan for each Channel and Customer (store/clinic) to maximise effectiveness.
  • Foster the growth and performance of team members through coaching, career planning, and career development.
  • Ensure compliance with processes and tools, while collaborating with peers to implement new field sales technologies that enhance operations.
  • Oversee the coordination and facilitation of National Sales meetings and key field events, managing expenses while ensuring optimal cost efficiency.
  • Uphold all company policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with local and Nestlé standards.

What will make you successful: 

  • Over 5 years in field sales management with a track record of achieving KPIs.
  • Experience in people management and leadership, with a proven ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Strong understanding of sales functions, including Category, Customer, and Field Sales, preferably in a Pet Specialty or non-grocery environment.
  • Demonstrated success across sales roles, showcasing adaptability and effectiveness.
