We’re looking for an intermediate Android Engineer to join our mobile team — a tight-knit, passionate squad focused on developing and evolving Kiwibank’s two native mobile apps.

You’ll be building and enhancing features that directly impact thousands of Kiwis every day. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll be working alongside talented engineers and designers, contributing to clean, secure, and scalable Android development in a supportive, agile environment.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven experience building high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
• Familiarity with modern Android tools, architecture, and libraries
• Comfortable working in Agile or DevOps teams
  
  
  

Bonus

• Experience with iOS development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Exposure to TDD, BDD or similar testing practices
• Familiarity with GraphQL
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., banking, insurance)
• Knowledge of app performance monitoring or analytics tools
• Exposure to building or using design systems
