te tūranga | About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and experienced Support Coordinator to join our dedicated team supporting Andrew who has an intellectual disability who may at time demonstrate concerning or harmful sexualised behaviours.

This is a specialised role requiring a trauma-informed, person-centred approach and a strong commitment to upholding dignity, safety, and positive behavioural support. This role involves supporting him in his daily routines, building positive relationships, and helping him engage safely in his community.

About the individual: Andrew, who lives in Kairos, located in Westmorland is a social individual who enjoys swimming, participating in community events, hanging out with friends, and biking. He loves a good laugh and connecting with his friends. 

This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.50 and $28.25 per hour.

Position 1

  • Monday and Tuesday 10am to 4pm

Total Hours per fortnight: 24

Position 2

  • Wednesday and Friday 10am to 4pm

Total Hours per fortnight: 24

Role
