We currently have multiple opportunities for skilled engineers with specific expertise in laundry product development and/or heat pump systems development for domestic appliances to complement an existing team of design engineers in our Fabric Care team in Auckland. As an integral member of multidisciplinary engineering projects, you will support the delivery of various fabric care product and technology roadmaps.
What We're Looking For…
An experienced design engineer, you thrive in a collaborative, hands-on creative environment, where you take ownership and actively manage your part and product systems through the entire process from concept generation to production. In addition, you should demonstrate an ability to successfully drive teamwork with all branches of the business to achieve objectives (eg. NZ Electronic Hardware and Software teams and China-based Product Design teams).
You'll be capable of covering many aspects of project design including:
You'll need a degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Engineering Science with 5+ years' experience in a similar product development environment. A background in complex appliance, automotive or aeronautical industries is desired but not essential.

- identifying key design factors,
- coming up with design concepts,
- generation of prototypes,
- hands-on testing,
- capturing data and performing data analysis,
- modelling and simulation of part and system behaviours, and
- gathering knowledge to drive key decisions for the product to meet its key design requirements.
You'll need a degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Engineering Science with 5+ years' experience in a similar product development environment. A background in complex appliance, automotive or aeronautical industries is desired but not essential.
