Kickstart your engineering career with Fulton Hogan as a Surfacing Engineer Cadet. This is a fantastic opportunity for students currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, or recent graduates, to gain hands-on experience in civil construction. You’ll be part of a supportive team, learning from experienced professionals while contributing to real projects that make a difference in your community.

In addition to the above you will:

• Assist with planning, scheduling, and delivering minor construction projects while learning key project management skills.
• Apply your studies in a practical environment, supporting safety, quality, and environmental standards on-site.
• Build your leadership and communication skills by working closely with managers, suppliers, and field teams.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Currently studying towards (or recently completed) a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• A commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• A full Class 1 driver’s licence and a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and contributing to quality project outcomes
