General labour role on various construction and demolition sites throughout Christchruch.Main Duties:
  • Engaging in various physically demanding tasks: This can include tasks such as lifting heavy materials, digging, and other physically strenuous activities.
  • Material handling: Handling and transporting materials and equipment on the job site.
  • Assisting skilled workers: Assisting more experienced workers, such as carpenters or construction workers, with their tasks.
  • Concrete work: Involvement in tasks related to concrete, such as pouring, leveling, or finishing.
  • Operating tools and equipment: Using various tools and machinery as required for the job.
  • Cleaning and maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and performing basic maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Assembling and disassembling: Putting together or taking apart structures or equipment.
Skills and Experience:
  • Trade experience: Prior experience in related fields like construction, carpentry, demolition, maintenance, or yard/workshop work.
  • Health & Safety conscious: Awareness of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Physical fitness: Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Driver's License: A valid Full Class 1 New Zealand driver's license,
  • Valid Site Safe.
