THE ROLE
JD Sports is on the lookout for an organised and proactive Store Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day store operations and elevate the behind-the-scenes experience.
Based in-store and reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll manage admin essentials like timesheets, compliance checks, stock processes, onboarding support, and internal communication — helping the team deliver a world-class retail experience.

FINANCIAL
- Approve daily timesheets for all team members in the store
- Assist the Store Manager in completing daily schedules
- Order all store consumables and stationery within budget and deadlines
- Conduct weekly cash uplift and change ordering processes
- Complete daily banking and administration paperwork
- Ensure the End of Month process is completed on time
PEOPLE & COMMUNICATION
- Support with new employee onboarding and inductions as requested by the management team, ensuring a seamless and positive experience
- Foster and promote a positive workplace culture for the wider team, readily sharing knowledge
- Support the management team where required to ensure a world-class retail environment for our customers
- Provide updates to the management team on all administration tasks and priorities through effective communication
- Communicate escalations with a sense of urgency and a solution-focused approach
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Support the Operations team in completing IBTs and RTVs by the agreed deadlines
- Assist the Operations team with managing faulty stock and processing write-offs in accordance with company guidelines
- Investigate the weekly negative SOH report, take the necessary steps to resolve issues, and
- communicate all updates to the Store Manager
- Manage Streamline Support ticket resolution, providing updates to key stakeholders and escalating as needed
PROFIT PROTECTION
- Assist the management team with administrative profit protection procedures to ensure compliance benchmarks are achieved
- Ensure adherence to company security and loss prevention procedures and escalate non-compliance as necessary
- Support the Store Management team and BOH Manager with stock take preparation and execution of stock audits
- Collaborate with the management team and BOH Manager to reduce shrink by implementing stock audit action plans
- Adhere to the odd shoe process by conducting weekly CCTV reviews to ensure the pair check process is completed by the BOH and floor teams. Provide feedback to the Store Manager from weekly checks
- Ensure the faulty and write-off process is completed in line with company guidelines
- Log all theft and attempted theft incidents within 48 hours of occurrence
- Conduct weekly profit protection checklist audits and communicate results and actions to the Store Manager
