Do you get excited about unlocking the power of data to drive better decisions? We're on the lookout for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join our growing team and help shape how data is transformed, modelled, and shared across Sky.
Sitting within the Analytics Engineering team and reporting to the Lead Analytics Engineer, you'll play a key role in building clean, secure, scalable data models using dbt and Snowflake, making sure our enterprise-wide analytics solutions are reliable and ready to support business decision-making. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across Sky to ensure our data is structured and surfaced in a way that’s useful, usable, and impactful.

- Designing, transforming and deploying high-quality data sets using dbt and Snowflake
- Collaborating with business units to understand and meet their data needs
- Creating scalable, secure, and maintainable data models
- Managing version control, CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining data documentation
- Enabling robust and governed access to reliable and actionable data

Essential
- Proven experience with dbt (or similar tools) and cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake)
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of data transformation principles
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable, reusable data models
- Familiarity with version control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD in a data environment
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Experience with data governance practices
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Looker
- Exposure to software engineering best practices in a data context
- Experience with data analysis and insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
