What You'll Do
As a Communications Advisor you will support InternetNZ communicate its vision of an internet that benefits everyone. Your day-to-day work will involve partnering with internal teams to develop engaging content strategies that showcase important initiatives both internally and externally. You will take full responsibility for producing the monthly e-newsletter by curating stories from across the business and using data insights to refine its reach. In addition to creating clear written materials for multiple platforms—including web pages, press releases, presentations, and reports—you’ll offer guidance on best practice messaging. Social media will be another key aspect of your role.

Key Requirements
- Proven experience working in communications, public relations or media roles.
- Writing, editing, and storytelling abilities across different formats tailored for varied audiences including digital newsletters and traditional print channels.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy in all deliverables through effective time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently but also highly collaborative. Able to build trust quickly within teams by sharing knowledge openly and supporting others’ success.
- Strong interpersonal skills enabling you to foster positive relationships with internal colleagues as well as external partners.
