Hairdressers

We are currently looking for two Hairdressers who are willing to working in a challenging environment.

The experience in the related field is appreciated but not mandatory. No formal qualification is required.

Flexible with working hours and should be able to work over the weekends. You will be working in a friendly, busy and exciting working environment.

Remuneration: $28-30 per hour

Minimum 30 hours of contract.

Location: Tauranga

Key Responsibilities:-

• Cutting, styling, coloring and straightening and permanently waves hair, and treating hair and scalp conditions.
• Advising clients on suitable haircuts as well as hairstyles and hair color based on their physical features and hair type.
• Cutting, trimming, and shaping clients' hair as well as wigs, hair extensions, hairpieces, and toupes based on clients’ preferences and specifications.
• Styling hair into dreadlocks and braids and adding hair extensions
• Providing advice on hair care and hair products
• Shampooing hair and conditioning scalps
• Colouring, straightening and permanently waving hair with chemical solutions
• Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors
• Using various hairstyling tools and equipment, including hair straighteners, curling irons, rollers, hairdryers, and hot combs, to style clients’ hair accordingly.
• Cleaning and sterilizing all hairdressing tools and instruments to ensure that state health and safety standards are met.
• Must be able to arrange appointments and collecting payments
