We are a leading contractor in the electrical distribution industry responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of overhead and underground lines and equipment. The role

If you're a qualified cable jointer who can work with 400v XLPE (live) up to 11kV XLPE cables & 400V to 11KV paper lead cables, and can bring solid experience in distribution and supply, this could be an exciting change for you.

You will join a friendly, social team who have a great time together, look out for one another and are absolutely committed to everyone's safety. You'll bring strong written and verbal skills, an open mind, and confidence to bring new ideas to the table. The role is full time (40 hours per week). However, you'll also be happy for some work-related travel outside the Canterbury region and may require regular rostered standby.

Working collaboratively across the Field Teams and wider Service Delivery team, the Cable Jointing team provide a comprehensive and quality cable jointing service on electrical distribution and associated networks.

Skills /Experience

• Experience in industry and related regulations
• Registered Cable Jointer with current practicing license
• Current and valid NZ driver's licence, minimum class 2

Desirable:

• Current and valid heavy traffic class 2 licence
• WTR endorsements desirable
• TMO endorsement desirable
