About The Role

Join our Digitising Value Stream team as a Test Analyst, where your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, stability, and security of our software applications.

As a Test Analyst, your primary focus will be on conducting ongoing testing, monitoring, automation, and reporting to ensure that our systems continue to meet the established quality standards and the evolving needs of our customers.  You will work across multiple teams and platforms and have exposure to some of the latest technologies. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Participate and represent QA in team ceremonies
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business goals
  • Review requirements, timelines, dependencies, specifications, and define test conditions towards shift-left testing and bugs prevention
  • Create test cases using technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications
  • Execute tests, analyse, and report bugs, issues and risks and pursue to resolution 
  • Conduct testing at UI, mobile, API level according to the product requirements 
  • Develop and maintain test documents, technical pages, regression suites, under own direction  
  • Leverage monitoring tools and logs to validate behaviour and support root cause analysis of incidents
  • Contribute to implementing and supporting test automation in the team, supported by the Southern Cross base test frameworks  

About you:

  • At least 3-5 years of technical testing experience in an Agile based environment
  • Previous experience with system, integration, regression, end-to-end testing and UAT support is essential
  • Experience in performance testing is desirable
  • An understanding of continuous integration and release pipelines with Azure DevOps or similar is desirable
  • Ideally previous experience maintaining Automated tests using C# Selenium / API Rest Sharp and Postman or similar tools
  • An aspiration for continuous learning and development
  • A Testing and /or an Agile or Azure certification is desired  
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) and understanding of how cloud-native applications are tested.
