  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs.
  • 6 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to work with internal partners and customer teams.
  • Ability to obtain Secret level clearance under the New Zealand national security clearance process.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Incident Response, Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security or Enterprise Architecture.
  • Experience with enterprise network topology and common security controls.
  • Experience in communicating technical details to technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience in consulting or with customer facing roles.
  • Knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, including prominent nation state or criminal threat actors and cyber attacks.
  • Ability to travel up as required.

About the jobIn this role, you will lead and support projects that assess, test, or build their security programs. Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted partner to clients, building and maintain relationships.
  • Conduct security program assessments and build roadmaps to improve client security posture.
  • Develop and deliver intelligence led exercises.
  • Assess security operations and incident response team capabilities and provide recommendations for improvement. Advise clients on how to prepare for incidents such as ransomware. Develop bespoke documentation such as Incident Response Plans and Playbooks.
  • Deliver threat briefings to executive and technical teams. Participate in client workshops and develop reports.
