Nelson Tasman Hospice is a charitable organisation with a talented team which provides compassionate specialist palliative care to patients in our community.
We are looking for an experienced Finance & Payroll Administrator to join our friendly Finance team.
You will provide administration service that supports the payroll, financial planning and reporting functions, as part of a future focused sustainable Nelson Tasman Hospice.
Reporting to our Finance and Operations Manager, this position is permanent part-time for 28 hours per week (0.7fte) to be worked over 5 days (there is some flexibility).
Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? - Who is an appropriate applicant?
• 2-3 years’ experience in a relevant field - accounting and payroll experience
• Operational knowledge of payroll and financial reporting
• Experience in Xero or other similar accounting systems
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
• Demonstrated banking and cash management experience
• Strong work and customer service ethic
• Good communication skills and collaborative style - able to build strong working relationships.
