About The Role
Are you keen to be the warm, friendly and welcoming voice and help to guide our customers to the right team? Then this could be the role for you! Our Switchboard Representatives are the first point of contact that our customers have with AA Insurance.
We have an exciting opportunity for a customer centric professional to join our warm and friendly team on a 6-month fixed term contract. Our customers from their first contact with you will know that we care, we help, and we can get things sorted for them.
Your ability to build rapport quickly and excellent listening skills will ensure that their calls are directed to the right place, first time, every time.
The successful applicant will have set shift patterns of 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday!

What else will you be doing?
- Answering in-bound calls as a first point of contact for our customers.
- Proactively listening and questioning to ensure customers receive accurate support and calls are transferred correctly.
- Delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction.
- Providing accurate and timely information to all in-bound calling customers.
- Maintaining an understanding of our products and processes to support an exceptional customer experience.
- Filtering phishing calls and reporting these as needed.
- Efficiently operating our computer and telephone systems.
- Identify opportunities for improving the customer experience by highlighting patterns, trends or relevant customer feedback to the Team Leader.
- A strong work ethic with a positive attitude and outlook.
- Effective communication, questioning and listening skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to multitask.
- The self-motivation to achieve individual targets.
- A drive to deliver an exceptional customer experience in every interaction.
- Proven skills in adaptability and resiliency, with a solution focused mindset.
