About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager – Residential to join our high-performing New Zealand team. Based at our Albany site in Auckland and reporting to the Field Sales Manager – Residential, you’ll play a key role in growing our residential hardware market share across the North Island.
You’ll work closely with Tier 1–4 home builders, door manufacturers, timber joiners, and trade merchants, while collaborating with internal teams to drive sales across OEM, Retail, and Architectural channels.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute a strategic call programme to deepen customer engagement and drive growth across the North Island
- Proactively provide technical and sales support for existing products and lead the introduction of new solutions to customers within your territory
- Develop territory-specific sales strategies across OEM, Retail, and Architectural channels, aligning efforts with broader business goals
- Build strong, solution-focused relationships with builders, pre-hung door manufacturers, timber joiners, and trade merchants
- Collaborate closely with the Field Sales Manager to support inventory forecasting and ensure alignment with customer demand
- Resolve customer issues efficiently, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Partner with the Marketing team to execute promotions, product launches, and brand-building initiatives that support residential segment growth
- Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and influence product development
- Maintain up-to-date CRM records and provide clear monthly reporting on territory activity, sales performance, and opportunities.
We’re looking for a motivated sales professional with:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales and marketing, ideally in the building products industry
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to plan and execute territory growth strategies
- Must be currently residing in and have the legal rights to work in New Zealand
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, self-driven attitude and strong attention to detail
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A collaborative and customer-centric mindset
