About the role

Bluecurrent is a leading provider of innovative smart metering services and solutions in New Zealand and Australia. As a B2B company, we partner with leading energy retailers and distributors in New Zealand and Australia.

We're looking for a Billing Operations Administrator to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing billing processes and procedures, including handling market/registry activities.
  • Supporting the Billing Operations Team Leader and Data Excellence team members.
  • Assisting customers in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • Generating billing information, managing purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Handling daily administration of billing enquiries and disputes.
  • Keeping billing-related documents organised and up-to-date.
  • Administering market/registry reconciliation processes and troubleshooting queries.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
  • High level of numeracy and the ability to apply it practically within a financially focused and operational environment.
  • Ability to use initiative, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to relate to people at all levels.
  • Ability to take on challenges head-on and come through successfully.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver on desired outcomes.
