What You'll Be Doing

Management of the full finance function across Australasia with a focus on transforming the function including the team, systems, processes and control environment. Key member of the ANZ Leadership team driving the strategic direction of a high growth group of businesses.

Step Into a Finance Leadership Role Driving Financial and Commercial Transformation Across Australasia

Corpay is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded Regional CFO to lead the finance function for our ANZ Vehicle Payments business. This executive role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, drive transformation, and act as a key business partner to the ANZ Managing Director and senior leadership team.

This is more than a finance role — it's a strategic and visible leadership opportunity for someone who can drive transformation, influence direction, improve performance, and elevate the business through financial insight and operational excellence. Based in Auckland, this hybrid role reports directly to the CFO of International Vehicle Payments and works closely with regional and global teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full finance function (including operational finance), across ANZ with a mandate to transform systems, teams, processes and the control environment.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the ANZ MD, offering financial insights that support decision-making, growth initiatives, and operational efficiency.
  • Represent finance in client, supplier, and bank interactions, contributing to a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
  • Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting — including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow — while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and increase value.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and commercial analysis, ensuring the business has the insight it needs to scale efficiently.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, creating a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a collaborative, transformational leader with strong financial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a complex business. You are likely to be already leading a finance function in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

  • A CA qualification (or equivalent).
  • 6-8+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated success driving automation, efficiencies, and team transformation.
  • Strong command of complex accounting environments and matrixed business structures.
  • Executive presence and confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, and clients.
  • Commercial intuition and the ability to translate financial data into business strategy.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with financial systems in high-transaction volume businesses.
