Maintenance Manager

SkyCity Auckland is seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Facility Services team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all maintenance operations across our diverse and complex property portfolio, ensuring our facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and effectively.

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

You'll play a key role in supporting the long-term sustainability of our assets, leading a team of over 30 staff and contractors, and driving operational excellence in a 24/7 environment.

• Lead and manage all maintenance operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions
• Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance professionals
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Champion health and safety protocols and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the delivery of long-term capital works and asset management plans

Mōu | About You

• Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, facilities management, or trades
• Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
