Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and infrastructure management? SkyCity Auckland is seeking a dynamic Facilities Manager to lead the charge in maintaining and enhancing our iconic properties across New Zealand.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As the Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and functionality of SkyCity Auckland's buildings and infrastructure. You'll manage a team, oversee a significant operating budget and play a key role in delivering capital projects, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement across our facilities.
- Lead maintenance, repair, and compliance efforts across SkyCity Auckland
- Manage and support facilities operations in Hamilton and Queenstown
- Oversee Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Deliver on capital expenditure projects and long-term asset planning
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors
- Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with SkyCity's Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of facilities professionals
Mōu | About You
- 3+ years' experience in facilities or property management
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in budgeting, project management, and compliance
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive approach to health and safety
- COA licence required
- Hospitality industry experience (preferred)
- FMANZ membership (preferred)
- Broad knowledge of the facilities and property industry (preferred)
