Facilities Manager

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As the Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and functionality of SkyCity Auckland's buildings and infrastructure. You'll manage a team, oversee a significant operating budget and play a key role in delivering capital projects, maintaining compliance, and driving continuous improvement across our facilities.

• Lead maintenance, repair, and compliance efforts across SkyCity Auckland
• Manage and support facilities operations in Hamilton and Queenstown
• Oversee Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) processes and ensure regulatory compliance
• Deliver on capital expenditure projects and long-term asset planning
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external contractors
• Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with SkyCity's Sustainable Development Goals
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of facilities professionals

Mōu | About You

• 3+ years' experience in facilities or property management
• Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in budgeting, project management, and compliance
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• A proactive approach to health and safety
• COA licence required
• Hospitality industry experience (preferred)
• FMANZ membership (preferred)
• Broad knowledge of the facilities and property industry (preferred)
