Your Opportunity
As part of our dynamic team, you will be working on a number of sizeable projects that we are delivering across New Zealand including significant water and wastewater treatment plants.
This role will be responsible for reviewing technical quality of engineering and design tasks while supporting Project Managers to ensure on time and budget project delivery.
Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing Engineering and Design teams, ensuring their efficient and effective performance. This involves overseeing the overall allocation of resources required for specialist design and engineering inputs, ensuring timely project delivery. The other elements of your role will be:
You will be an experienced Civil Engineer with a proven track record of successfully delivering stormwater, water and/or wastewater projects with an emphasis in key design skill areas, such as treatment plants, pressure / rising mains, trenchless techniques, gravity pipelines (sewer and stormwater), pump stations and reservoirs.

- Team Management:Oversee Engineering and Design teams, ensuring efficient performance and timely project delivery.
- Coordination:Coordinate resources for engineering, utilities, drawing, mapping, and cost estimation. Verify processes and outputs to maintain high standards.
- Project Tracking:Manage engineering/design processes and deliverables, collaborating with Technical leads and project teams for successful outcomes.
You will be an experienced Civil Engineer with a proven track record of successfully delivering stormwater, water and/or wastewater projects with an emphasis in key design skill areas, such as treatment plants, pressure / rising mains, trenchless techniques, gravity pipelines (sewer and stormwater), pump stations and reservoirs.
We Are Looking For An Engineer Who Can Bring
- Leadership:Lead cohesive teams on challenging projects.
- Design Management:Experience with complex infrastructure, design codes, standards, and practices.
- Technical Expertise:Civil Engineer with experience in stormwater, water, and wastewater projects, including treatment plants, mains, pipelines, pump stations, and reservoirs.
- Qualifications:Degree in Civil Engineering; CPEng certification preferred.
- Client Relationship Management:Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
