About This Team

We are looking for a Senior SAP BASIS Consultant to add breadth and depth to our highly successful team.

This Role Will Have The Following Primary Responsibilities

  • Continue to build Deloitte’s SAP marketplace eminence by providing Senior consulting services to existing client-base and assist in developing new opportunities
  • Continue to grow Deloitte’s existing SAP BASIS capability through self-investment in training/certification, knowledge-sharing and mentoring junior staff

Key Responsibilities : General Skills

  • Proven career in technical roles across broad industry functionality
    • Understands technical design and delivery approaches in complex SAP landscapes
    • Understands SAP’s Technology roadmap for major product offerings
    • Experienced working in onshore/offshore team models
  • Proven project delivery capability
    • Experience working on mid to large-scale ERP implementations
    • Understands the project life-cycle and general delivery methodologies
    • Demonstrated ownership of technical tasks in both project and client support work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Demonstrated client presentation experience
    • Demonstrated customer-ready documentation
    • Demonstrated experience contributing to commercial material
      • Estimates
      • Design Documents / Option Papers
      • SoW’s
Qualifications

Technology Skills

  • Demonstrated practical experience on SAP’s newer generation technologies including, but not limited to:
    • SAP ERP, S/4 HANA (private & public cloud)
    • Business Technology Platform
    • Networking/Integration technologies (Cloud Connector, WebDispatcher)
    • Preferred experience on SAP’s key Cloud technology offerings
      • Cloud Identity Services
      • Cloud ALM
  • Demonstrated practical experience with SAP workloads on AWS & Azure Hyperscalers, including security/network design elements
  • Preferred 5-10 years Technical delivery experience on:
    • S/4 HANA Greenfield/Brownfield/Selective migrations
    • ERP Upgrades
    • Practical experience integrating SAP Cloud to on-premise
    • A range of SAP and OS/DB combinations
Consulting Skills

  • Technical delivery
    • Ability to engage in project/opportunity scoping discussions with customers to gather business requirements and translate that to technical design
    • Understand and provide technical guidance on integrated solutions between SAP & 3rd party products
    • Good knowledge of SAP’s new generation technologies
      • S4HANA
      • BTP
      • Public/Private cloud options
      • Data & Analytics solutions
  • Documentation
    • Contribution to client-ready proposals, designs, options papers, impact assessments,
  • Customer engagement
    • Ability to establish customer relationships with senior technical support owners
    • Ability to develop technical documentation and discuss/present this to clients
  • Consulting
    • Preferred 5+ years’ experience in a Consulting organisation
