Role Objective:
Are you a highly organised and results-driven Management Accountant with a passion for music festivals The Live Nation NZ is seeking a Management Accountant to work closely with our Financial Controller, supporting the Festivals team with monthly accounts preparation, forecasts, budgets, and cashflow reporting. You’ll play a key role in month-end journals, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial processes across various projects and events.

What you'll be doing:
- Balance sheet reconciliations: Ensure accuracy and consistency in monthly reconciliations.
- Month-end support: Assist with general, accrual, and prepayment journals.
- Tax schedules: Prepare supporting schedules and workings for all taxes.
- Audit assistance: Support internal and external audits as required.
- Accounts processing: Oversee the smooth processing of accounts payable and receivable.
- Show settlements: Prepare detailed show settlements and ensure accuracy.
- Artist payments: Manage artist payment schedules and withholding tax requirements.
- Budget tracking: Work with promoters and bookers to track event budgets and prepare forecasts.
- Cashflows: Prepare and manage accurate cashflow reports.
- Event reconciliation: Reconcile events, including box office and ticket sales.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to Live Nation’s compliance requirements.
- Ad-hoc duties: Provide support for various financial tasks as required.
- Proven experience: At least 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on month-end processes.
- Education: CA/CPA qualified, or qualified through experience.
- Analytical skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving ability.
- Technical proficiency: Highly proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; Oracle experience highly regarded.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player: Ability to work under pressure, both independently and within a team.
- Event accounting: Experience with project or festival accounting would be a strong advantage.
